We got our grand total and we are pleased to announce that we raised a magnificent £151.17 !!!

Oktoberfest Beavers |

This Sunday saw the Beavers competing in the Power League Oktoberfest Tournament and they didn't let the Burlton Inn down.
Yes, they made it to the final of these intense 10 minute games and finished as Runners Up! Not at all bad for their first competition against all Power League Teams including the first division!!!
They continued the evening playing their regular slot in the second division but not surprisingly did not win that game due to injuries and fatigue as it was their 8th game of the day! So hopefully next week will see a refreshed team playing and then they can end their win one week, lose the next week trend  . |

The Beavers faced tough competition on Sunday night, playing some of the top teams in their division in their new kits! There was a victory over the Abbott Rovers 9-7  , then there was the 8.45pm match against the top of the league ending in a 10-7 defeat for the Beavers  . The team played extremely well together despite the high tension on the pitch. The next match is on Sunday 13th September at 8pm. |
